In the first week of September 2015, our company FARMIX a.s. organized for current or potential clients a thematic tour to the USA. Exhibitions of agricultural machinery in the USA are an interesting opportunity to get acquainted with the latest trends in agrotechnology and to establish new business contacts. Thematic tours should combine pleasant with useful, and we try to adapt their program to this, so that it is a combination of education and active rest. In the period from 30 August to 7 September 2015, we organized a trip to the USA for our current and potential customers, the main point of the program was a visit to the agricultural exhibition FARM PROGRESS SHOW 2015, which took place in the small district town of Decatur located on the shores of the lake of the same name in the state of Illinois. In addition to the classic fair, where the most modern agricultural machinery was on display, we also had the opportunity to watch practical demonstrations of harvesting equipment, which the organizer has prepared in the adjacent fields. After the show, we flew to Omaha, where we had an excursion to the plant of our American partner GLOBAL INDUSTRIES, which produces continuous dryers NECO, and then another, this time to the production plant of silos and silo dryers MFS on Grand Island in New York. , where the headquarters of GLOBAL INDUSTRIES are located. We used the remaining time before leaving for a tour of eternally vibrant Manhattan, downtown New York City.
