Back to the big pond: a visit to New York City and the Farm Progress Show 2022

After a longer metal break, we again went with our customers across the Big Puddle for a traditional thematic tour. New York with its vibrant life and IOWA with the largest agricultural machinery exhibition did not disappoint us again.

Dazzling New York City

We started with a three-day stay in the heart of the United States, in the dazzling New York City. This city is not only a world trade hub, but also a jewel of art, fashion and culture. Its non-stop bustle and energy are unmistakable. The nickname “the city that never sleeps” truly suits it.

Manhattan and its charm

We spent our stay in Manhattan, known for its iconic skyline of skyscrapers. From the Top of the Rock observation deck on the roof of Rockefeller Center, we had a breathtaking view of the entire peninsula. In addition, we crossed the entire Brooklyn Bridge on foot. On the other side of the bridge, in Brooklyn, we enjoyed a spectacular view of the bridge and the city at Pebble Beach. Central Park offered us a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, and in Times Square we witnessed the vibrant life and flashing advertisements. One of our most interesting stops was the High Line. A public park built on a historic elevated rail line that stretches along the western edge of Manhattan. This green oasis in the middle of the city was capped off with a visit to the architectural gem, the Vessel.

Cruise and Statue of Liberty

One of the highlights of our stay in New York was a private sailing cruise. We sailed past historic Ellis Island and Governors Island and admired the Statue of Liberty, which has been welcoming visitors since 1876.

IOWA Agricultural Show

After visiting New York, we headed to our main destination: the 2022 FARM PROGRESS SHOW in IOWA. Here we witnessed the latest trends in agriculture, including live demonstrations of corn harvesting. We discussed new methods of corn storage and admired new models of AGI’s silo designs. Of course, we didn’t miss the stand of our partners CHIEF AGRI.

Final stop in Minneapolis

At the end of our trip we stopped in Minneapolis, where we visited the largest shopping mall in the USA, Mall of America. We ended our adventure at a Brazilian restaurant where we enjoyed a great meal and reminisced about all the experiences we had during our trip. dinners in NYC This trip reminded us once again how important it is to connect with our customers and share memorable experiences with them, whether in the field of agriculture or exploring new cultures.
