Construction

---

CHIEF funnel silos use a standard painted or hot-dip galvanized construction with welded legs and circular beams.
For the underpass silo variant, a “Super Construction” is available.

Hopper inclination 45° and 60°

---

CHIEF funnel silos are supplied as standard with a 45° hopper cone and a 0.4 m discharge opening. Silos with less than 45° hopper inclination can be supplied as standard, but also with a higher 60° inclination. For silos with an internal funnel, i.e. silos with cladding, the perforated hopper has a 32° inclination for better aeration.

Installation

The wall completely surrounds the hopper down to the ground, which better insulates the grain.
No crane is needed to lift the silo and assembly, including the hopper, is carried out using conventional lifting equipment.
